A New Approach for Elon Musk?

Considering the reality that power is an addiction for those feeding at the trough of government might and money, it was probably inevitable that Elon Musk’s crusade to root waste out of the American government would stall and prove unable to surmount the high barrier of congressional approval. Musk’s meltdown on social media over the failure of the United States Congress to codify his DOGE cuts into law was a popcorn-worthy entertainment event, but in terms of substance to adapt and pursue a new course to address America’s problems, its been something of a nothingburger. Insults, insinuations, and clever phrases do not change policy or direction of a country. Musk apparently believes that through these actions he will help stir up popular pressure on Congress to get the DOGE cuts through. However there are powers at play far more entrenched in the swamps of DC than he is. These are better positioned to ensure that those cuts never happen, even if it means the collapse of the imperialist system. To put it simply, Musk is outclassed in this battle on enemy ground. He caused some significant damage to the structures of the imperialists’ power (i.e.: the shuttering of USAID and certain other agencies), but long-term success was never an achievable outcome against entrenched opposition such as what he encountered.

With he and Donald Trump apparently parting ways, the question now arises as to what is next for Musk. The majority of his ideas to date regarding recovery from this setback has revolved around founding a new political party, but he is likely to quickly discover as the late Ross Perot did that that is easier said than done. Furthermore, though many people in America appreciate his work with DOGE, there are still significant concerns about certain other beliefs and projects which Musk has been dabbling in, such as Neuralink and other technocratic projects. These concerns are significant obstacles to getting general support across America for any broader agenda he might wish to accomplish.

There is another way for Musk to try and experiment more with his ideas. It is a route laden with risk and demanding a certain type of attention to detail which only control freaks could be expected to have. However Musk has often been described as thriving on taking risks. In addition, there are aspects to his personality which can be considered to be indicators of a control freak mentality which, some argue, has played a key role in his success to date. With this being the case, the scenario now about to be proposed may not be as far-fetched as some think.

This route would resolve many of the loose ends lying around in the aftermath of Musk’s departure from the Trump administration. It would bring resolution for Musk himself, and for the people who respect his intelligence, but also want his more controversial ideas contained to an extent for now until more research has been done. This route would call for Musk to withdraw to his recently incorporated little town of Starbase on the border of Texas and Mexico, where he has headquartered his space exploration company SpaceX. Once there he should build up infrastructure and make preparations for Starbase to become the North American continent’s first true example of what in Europe is called a “microstate.”

The term “microstate” (or “micronation” as the more accurate term) is a relatively recent addition to the political lexicon, meant to give a grouping label to those independent nations whose territory encompasses a very small plot of land. In Europe this would apply to countries such as Andorra, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, San Marino and Vatican City. Their small size enables the leaders to more easily communicate with the population and more quickly recognize problems when they arise. They are also easier to manage and keep functioning as opposed to over-large nations where bureaucracy and corruption eventually undermine the country’s political and economic foundations, bringing it’s existence to an end. Though they may have some limitations economically (i.e.: not very much farmland or natural resources), currently existing micronations have all managed to find their own ways to develop themselves economically and so keep the country functioning. These countries are a real life contradiction to the Elitist narrative that only large countries are viable politically. Their example provides a blueprint for how Musk should proceed into a future where the old political systems are disintegrating.

Using his SpaceX venture along with trade as the main economic foundation, Elon Musk should put pieces in place to declare the Independence of Starbase in the near-future. He can establish himself as the figurehead “Grand Duke” while allowing the citizens to run their own governance for the most part. He should then open Starbase for a period to welcome in all those who believe in his ventures and experiments who are also willing to become part of Musk’s new nation to help with developing these ideas. With this established, Musk will have carved out his own niche politically both for himself and his supporters. They can pursue their dreams and ideas without infringing or being infringed upon by other interests within the larger landmass of North America.

The viability of this independence venture would be helped by the fact that Starbase is strategically located where the Rio Grande river meets the ocean along the border of Texas and Mexico. With strong secession movements existing in both Texas and the northern provinces of Mexico, Starbase would be politically free to chart it’s own path regardless of what direction the independence efforts in the neighboring areas take. It can also offer friendship and business opportunities to both of it’s neighbors to use the Starbase facilities for space exploration ventures, which will likely be growing in importance and intensity through the twenty-first century. This would give Starbase the business it would need to keep it’s citizens thriving economically. Agreements respecting sovereignty, while providing for common self-defense help in the event of aggression from other powers, could also be brought about with these same neighbors. These would help ensure Starbase retains it’s independence while not being isolated either.

Will Elon Musk seriously consider this approach? It is hard to say at this point. However, as the man has proven himself very unpredictable in terms of direction since he first appeared on the public stage, it is fair to say that with him any direction is possible. Hopefully he is far-seeing enough to eventually recognize what many already have: namely that the Imperial Empire of DC is crumbling, and the original governing structures are beyond saving. Once he realizes that, this option may suddenly become a very viable one in his mind. An added benefit of him recognizing and pursuing this option would be that other potential micronations, such as Liberland in the Balkans, might finally be given the more serious treatment they deserve on the world stage.

Palantir and the L.A. Riots - Coincidence?

Some weeks ago a “noticing” movement began to arise with respect to certain things unfolding in Trump World. First, attention was brought to the fact that Donald Trump had signed an executive order back in March directing that federal government agencies should seek to more readily share data with each other. This is a practice which had been discouraged in the past. There are real fears that a centralized database would make it easier for the federal government to find ways to persecute it’s citizens for exercising their rights if the government was opposed to certain viewpoints held by the individuals in question. Furthermore, it was revealed that the major technology company that was being tasked with centralizing this data was “Palantir”, a company specializing in surveillance technology, and owned by a Silicon Valley group including controversial tech oligarchs Peter Thiel and Alex Karp. This development alarmed many within MAGA world. It also raised serious questions as to what was really going on behind the scenes in the Trump administration by many who had supported and voted for Trump in the recent election. Though other members of the Palantir board attempted to reassure the public that the program was not nefarious or unusual, their responses still left many questions unanswered. These reassurance attempts were also largely unconvincing to those understanding the truth that the problem lies in the existence of the surveillance system itself, not in who is running it.

On the heels of this revelation, an overlooked provision which had been slipped into Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” came to more intense public notice. The provision banned all state governments in America from regulating AI for a decade, placed all control of AI integration in the federal government thus centralizing AI surveillance, and made provisions for AI to be integrated into certain federal agencies. With the Palantir surveillance model based in AI, many quickly realized that the states were being banned from taking steps against the unfolding of the centralized surveillance state. Faced with this revelation, some leading grassroots figures, such as Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, quickly came out and condemned the ban, with Greene stating emphatically that she would oppose the bill specifically because of this provision. Leadership in the United States Senate attempted to assuage the fears raised by replacing the outright ban with a financial penalty for any state seeking to regulate AI. However, such half-hearted correction measures do not cut it with the public any longer after what was revealed thanks to the government’s COVID response.

With opposition growing to this implementation of a new stage of the surveillance state, especially within the MAGA constituency, it was apparent something drastic was going to be needed to undercut the opposition and get it through. Then suddenly, as if out of nowhere, riots abruptly erupted in Los Angeles surrounding Trump’s immigration agenda, taking the spotlight off the surveillance question and forcing law and order issues back into the forefront of the public’s attention. The riots have only intensified as the Trump administration has sent military force in to control the situation. Fears are now growing that the riots could spread across the country. Protests in San Francisco against Trump’s immigration agenda have turned violent and other cities across the country are also seeing growing protests which have the potential to turn violent.

A key technique for any advocates of centralizing government power is to use the power of emotions to overwhelm the truth of logic. That alone should make this sudden turn of events suspicious for those who believe in freedom. Fear is a key tool in the arsenal of those who push for government to assert more power, and seeing violence explode in the middle of an effort to combat a serious expansion of the surveillance state should make everyone very concerned. While some things can indeed be coincidences, America has reached a point where, as commissioner Jim Gordon told detective John Blake in The Dark Knight Rises: “You’re not allowed to believe in coincidence any more.”

The Elites’ New Plan

The Elites, hailing from both Left and Right within the political kaleidoscope, are the big players in the midst of all of this. They are working to ensure the volatility will continue to grow until it reaches a breaking point. The resulting chaos, they believe, will give them the opportunity they desire to usher in their new system of all-out control over the “unwashed masses” as they so disdainfully refer to the common everyday civilian working hard just to survive.

When the Elites kicked off the major test run of their Globalist control structures, using the COVID hysteria as the cover for their implementation, it was in America that the agenda was met by it’s greatest challenges. America’s Founding Fathers had done a masterful job designing an intricate system of checks and balances, which soon proved a formidable obstacle to the new Globalist programs. Even after one hundred sixty years of political attrition against that system by power-hungry figures, the Bill of Rights and the principles of self-government still retained enough power to provide the people with effective tools for pushing back against tyranny. All kinds of brave individuals, from everyday folk like the “Park Patriots” of southern Texas and anti-mask-mandate activists nationwide, to local government officials like the state legislators of South Dakota and the governor of Florida, effectively used these tools to first stop and then dismantle the COVID regime. Despite the Elites’ constant pressure to both maintain and expand the regime, local pushback finally proved too much and the regime was largely dismantled by the middle of 2022, though certain tyrannical precedents remained available for potential use in the future.

Within two years of the overt COVID regime’s end, lessons the Elites took from this test run began to exhibit themselves. Recognition clearly dawned on them that no tyrannical regime could survive in America so long as America’s founding principles remained intact. Those principles, as personified by the Bill of Rights, checks and balances, and self-government practices, would have to be removed and destroyed if any new system of tyranny, whether woke, technocratic, or both, had any chance of reaching full implementation status.

To achieve this, the Elites unveiled a new series of attacks, designed to provoke conflict and distrust inside America at higher levels than those seen during the COVID hysteria. The first stage would involve weaponizing the law itself against large segments of the population, mostly against the general populace with some more well-known names thrown in for the purpose of publicizing the misuse of the law. This would then sow seeds of rampant distrust, both against those who held different ideological views, and against the systems which the laws had created. The long-term purpose of this plan would be that of creating an atmosphere of anger and helplessness among the population, which could then be funneled into an attack against the American founding principles themselves.

Once the people’s belief in America’s founding principles were weakened sufficiently, with suspicion and desire for rapid pushback unleashed by this campaign of lawfare, the second stage could be slowly introduced. With the people already angry and frustrated by seeing their very governing structures being used against them when they had done nothing wrong, strong desires for vengeance against those who had persecuted them would inevitably begin to arise. The people would then be more inclined to disregard the very checks and balances which should have protected them in the first place. This, in turn, would make the rights guaranteed the people under the Bill of Rights, in effect, a dead letter. As the Bill of Rights slowly became no longer respected as applying to “the other” as well as to themselves, an “anything goes” mentality would begin to grow between the factions which the Elites had stirred up.

With respect for America’s founding principles greatly compromised, a third stage in the Elites’ plan is now being put into action. Political fervor is being whipped up into a power-hungry frenzy on all sides of the political divide. With the MAGA movement being constantly labeled as a “clear and present danger” by it’s opponents, and a similar mentality unfolding within the MAGA movement against their own adversaries, a dangerous brew is being stirred domestically. The Elites’ goal with this concoction is for all factions to buy into the “one-size-fits-all” mentality and so see the complete and utter destruction of those who they do not agree with as being the ultimate good they should strive for. Once this is achieved, the last and most important stage in the plan to destroy America’s founding principles can be unleashed: The State of Emergency known as “War”.

The Elites are already well into the process of laying the foundation for domestic war. War games they organized leading up to the 2024 elections were one of the first public indicators of a major lesson they had derived from the failure of the COVID regime. It had become clear they needed a state of emergency, one which was clearly obvious to all, to get the people to willingly give up for good what adherence remained to America’s founding principles. What better way to do that then war? With the danger so obvious and easy to hype, and hatred for “the other” paramount in the minds of many who have suffered through the lead-up to war, those seeking to destroy these principles would have the upper hand emotionally in any argument against those defending these same principles.

While a big opportunity for the Elites to instill deadlock and ignite civil war was lost with the convincing win of Donald Trump and many of his allies in the November 2024 general elections, the Elites’ general course of action appears unchanged. With the election results being too lopsided to mount effective challenges, the Elites merely altered tactics - pursuing an alternative path to bring about the domestic war they need so badly. First, a little-known congressman from North Carolina seeded the idea that the best resistance to Trump would be to form a “shadow cabinet”, with individuals filling roles in direct opposition to Trump’s appointees to the official positions. The idea got positive responses from many hailing from more Elitist perspectives, and seems to be getting developed in more detail. The holding of “shadow hearings” against the Trump administration, followed by the open endorsement of the shadow government concept by a US Senator with extensive ties to the intelligence community or “Deep State”, appears to signal an intensification of these plans to get a public shadow government established and operating in the near-future.

Civil War: The tool to destroy Freedoms

These developments are rather alarming considering the history and politics of how civil wars unfold inside nations. Outside of a few parliamentary systems such as in Britain, where the “shadow cabinet” idea is merely a public relations gimmick, shadow governments are usually formed by groups seeking to carry out the non-electoral removal of the current group holding the levers of power in a country. Thus is laid the foundation for a civil war. Two or more groups establish competing governing bodies for their supporters to rally behind. After whipping up the everyday people into a frenzy of support for the different factions, the groups then engage in whatever means they deem necessary to seize the reigns of power for the advancement of their own agenda.

This method is effective for those who seek to seize and enhance their own power. It was how the Communists made many of their advances to take over different nations during their heyday from the 1870s to the 1980s. They would form alternative governing bodies and then engage in a war of attrition, both militarily and in law, against their opponents in a bid to seize power. While they did not always succeed, the conflicts often left a legacy of pain, exhaustion, bitterness, and lost freedoms which took years, if not generations, for the populace to recover from.

The most destructive aspect to civil wars however, is how they open the door for the destruction of traditions and principles which help maintain peace. Using the opportunities presented by the chaos which war unleashes, power-hungry individuals can seize power for themselves at the expense of the populace. The chaos also eliminates any reliance on precedent and provides a convenient excuse for dismantling checks and balances rooted in self-government. The justification given is that the powers leading the fighting need all restrictions removed in order to get their job done. This is often how freedoms and the principles of self-government are lost. Once power is in the hands of the faction leaders, they become addicted to the exercise of it, and so will not readily relinquish that power. They will not willingly allow the freedoms and protections of the individual to be reasserted, or the principles of self-government to be re-implemented. As a result, either conflict continues, or tyranny is implemented for the long term.

National Divorce: The tool to preserve Freedoms

As disturbing as the Elites’ plan to destroy America’s founding principles is, there is a way to defeat their plan. A way which is tested, true, and rooted in America’s founding principles. When America’s founding fathers were confronted with the reality that London was wholly dedicated to a course of action which would result in the American colonists’ self-governing practices being taken away for good, they knew that self-protection actions were necessary. The approach they ended up taking was wise. Instead of seeking to work with radical leaders within Britain like John Wilkes to overthrow king and parliament, they instead chose to withdraw from the jurisdiction of king and parliament. A “national divorce” of sorts.

While it is true that logistics of the era (distance, feasibility, etc) made the choice of withdrawal the natural one for America’s founders, the fact still remains that it was a good choice considering that the freedoms and self-government principles of the American people were preserved. In addition, though a war of self-defense did unfold, the fact that it was waged in self-defense and for the preservation of these freedoms and principles, rather than for acquisition of power, meant that from the beginning there were greater odds of a good outcome in favor of freedom. When the war ended, there was far more substantial resistance to attempts to consolidate power at the expense of Americans’ freedoms and principles. Though a few among the founding generation actively pursuing power did manage to slip some small blemishes into the constitution which was formed in 1787, the freedoms and self-governing principles which the colonists had fought for were largely preserved for a little over seventy years, with great benefit for the American populace of that era.

It is not hard to see the benefits which national divorce brought in that situation. As power was not the motive, but rather preservation of freedoms and self-governing principles, the groups seeking to separate were not instituting chaos, but rather preserving a well-working order which was of benefit to the populace. While certain aspects of governance would need to be changed once separation was accomplished, the lack of widespread chaos meant the the freedoms and self-government principles would remain largely intact - and maybe even improved upon considering that the separation was a case of escaping an abuse of power in the first place. Put simply, there were no political voids presented for power-hungry individuals to step in and consolidate power. It was a true win for the populace of a kind which had not often been seen in world history up to that point.

America’s Choice

Change is coming fast to the nation known as the United States of America. The shelf-life of the current political experiment is reaching the end of its time, just as different governing systems have all reached the end of their time throughout history. The danger lies in the fact that the Elite classes, many of whom have power connections which stretch back centuries, recognize this reality. They are now attempting to seize this opportunity to implement a global totalitarian model to rule the world - a system which Voltaire, Marx, Gramsci, Marcuse, Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin, Mao and many other totalitarian dictators and thinkers could only have dreamed of. Using chaos as their primary weapon of destruction leading to change, the Elites seek to uproot the old traditions and principles and replace them with their own. A new secular dogma for the world’s people to live by, shorn of any attachment to religion, tradition, or natural law, and based solely on the whims and basest passions of the Elites. It is a scenario which makes one think that these Elites are attempting to make the mythical gods of Mount Olympus a reality, with themselves as the primary deities playing games with the lives of the citizenry who they view as beneath them.

Even if the Elites’ plans to implement their totalitarian model should fail, the chaos unleashed by war, especially domestic war between neighbors, will still leave a dangerous void in America. One that could easily be filled by other individuals who would then find themselves corrupted by the very power which the Elites sought to acquire. This is another reason why civil war is such a risk. Chaos unleashed through war, even if the Elites should lose the war, still presents a huge opportunity to those cunning and ambitious enough to seize power and implement tyranny of their own, regardless of what ideology it is based in. Then the whole struggle will have been basically for nothing. No checks and balances rooted in self-government principles will remain to check the ego of the new power holder.

National Divorce is the option with the least number of dangers to the freedoms and principles which are America’s true foundation. Withdrawing from the manipulated and corrupted government structures which now advance the Globalist project would allow defensive consolidation for preservation of these values. While this would not guarantee avoidance of war, as the Elites would likely seek to use every tool at their disposal to bring those seceding back under their control, the conflict would be changed into one of self-defense as opposed to maneuvering for power. As multiple self-defense, grassroots-oriented conflicts have shown through the centuries, sheer military power is not a guarantee of victory in war. Today, ever increasing masses of people now have a basic knowledge of the reality of the Globalist conspiracies, thanks to the awakening brought about by COVID, as well as ever increasing public proclamations of increasingly crazy agendas. This makes for far longer odds of the Elites being able to break an opposition alliance rooted in self-defense. The added advantage of not opening up a political void for other nefarious actors to potentially seize substantial power, makes this an even more appealing approach. The route to rebuild the world based on America’s founding principles would be a much smoother one. Good elements of the old order could be oriented to correct the abuses which manifested themselves over the 250 year life of the original American experiment.

Which way will America go? Will the people give in to the siren call of chaos and become the very evil they believe they are fighting against as Keith Mallory warned in The Guns of Navarone? Or will they be like Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings, recoiling at the very thought of using the all-corrupting Ring of Power, and instead seeking to follow a path which some call folly but turns out to be wise? Only time will tell.

The Crime of Noticing

It’s all too prevalent, this “crime” of noticing. You start looking at things. Digging into statistics. Monitoring trends. Delving more deeply into the historical accounts and data. Pattern recognition becomes ever more the norm. You can’t un-see what you’ve seen or un-know what you now know. It bothers you, but it also awakens you. That’s your first mistake.

The second is that you start to verbalize what you’ve noticed. The information you have seen. The wider context. The connections. The ongoing, consistent reality that certain people, certain groups are disproportionately a part of what’s happening, whatever that may be. It’s not just some narrative being spun, but facts. Unavoidable, inexorably linked facts. Something one avoids only if he consciously refuses to break free from the accepted position, the norm. The overarching belief that must never be questioned. Yet, when you verbalize it, when you write it down for others to see, you’re told you’re overstating matters, you’re an extremist, you’re a bigot — no matter how tight your position is or how overwhelming supporting facts may be.

Greetings!

In spite of what both the Elite lamestream media and certain Wanna-Be Elite alternative media figures try to tell you in these days of riots and raw power politics, the impending end of the Age of Centralization continues to unfold. The disrespect for the American founding principles has become so commonplace that it is impossible to see the current political structure centered in DC surviving in what remnants of the form the Founders intended for much longer. The danger that now faces the peoples within America (and much of the rest of the world) is the effort from both the Totalitarian Left and the Authoritarian Right to throw out all respect for the principles which built America into the great nation it once was. First, the principle of the people self-governing themselves at the most local level. Second, respect for individual rights and freedoms which would allow the people to pursue a fulfillment of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Finally, observing the strict boundaries placed upon power through checks and balances to prevent consolidation of power into a tyrannical form. It is these three pillars of America’s Founding which are worthy of hard work to preserve, not state borders, government departments, or the ability to project power overseas on other nations. This is why On This Terrestrial Ball, The State of Division, and Secession Speakeasy exist. To observe and report on these developments, and to assist in the efforts to preserve and, where possible, spread America’s Founding principles through secession and nullification.

However the task is a monumental one. One for which the support of all of you is needed. We thank wholeheartedly all of you who have supported us, either through your generous contributions, or through sharing our work to get it in front of more people to help educate them on the truth of what should be done to learn from the mistakes of the past to bring about a better future. The Crippling of Rural America

In the best of all possible worlds, Eastern and Western Oregon should be able to sit down over a drink and find themselves in agreement on the range of problems facing Oregon.

But as most of us are constrained to notice, this is not the best of worlds. The notion that entire regions of population covering a vast landscape will find themselves in agreement on most matters of policy—much less on specific applications of policy—amounts to sentimentality, if not downright delusion. The truth is that even conservatism differs—on some points radically—between various regions in America.

Abstract Rule

There is no mystery in this: Rule from a distance, by people having no part in the community, constitutes tyranny de facto. Not because the rulers are always ill-intentioned, but because they are ignorant of the vital distinctions of each individual community, and frankly have no meaningful interest in it. Rule from a distance is abstract rule; the persons ruled become nothing more than pieces on a board called Politics.

The Current State of Scottish Nationalism

Earlier this year the nationalist commentariat was saying how ridiculous it was that 2 pro-independence marches were about to occur a fortnight apart in the same city of Glasgow, AUOB (May 4th 2024) – all under one banner - and BIS (April 20th, 2024)– Believe in Scotland. This simple fact for many showed how the broad nationalist movement is no longer united. So I would propose that on two fronts it is at a stalemate.

First Stalemate: Constitutional

It is well known we are at a constitutional impasse / crossroads. In the 1980s and 1990s Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and her successors taught the Scots a lesson in where sovereign power lies. Thatcher defeated the miners, and they stayed defeated. So the miners – in Scotland at least - learnt a new politics. The politics of nationalism i.e. a politics without England. It was partially successful thanks to 1999 and the setting up of the devolved parliament in Edinburgh. Now though, in the post-2014 situation after the failure of the independence referendum, Westminster Prime Ministers – Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Rishi Sunak - are teaching a new generation of Scots the same lesson in where sovereign power really lies. The place the Scots occupy in the hierarchy. We are the new Catalonia vis-a-vis Spain. Just as the Spanish constitution forbids the Catalans to have a referendum without the approval of the Spanish Cortes – and that ain’t going to happen – i.e. Spain will not let itself be dismembered. Spain gives nobody the right to dismember Spain. Similarly, the English will not give permission to the Scots to secede; and the Scots know they have no legal right to hold an independence referendum. They need English permission and England will not give it. They have too much to lose. So the only way the Scots will get another chance to escape England’s veto on Scotland’s future is to win another absolute majority in the Holyrood parliament as happened back in May 2011.

But here is where the ‘blame game’ begins and where another important impasse comes into view:

Second Stalemate: Organisational

The absolute majority of seats won in the Scottish parliament by the SNP in 2011 meant the British PM David Cameron had to give in and let the Scots have a referendum on independence or he would appear to be un-democratic. However that 2011 majority was won because there was a united nationalist movement behind the SNP. Here is where the blame game begins because slowly, slowly, and then quite dramatically and very publicly, that unity has totally gone. The debacle of the SNP persisting with the strategy of ‘both votes SNP’ to spite Alex Salmond’s new Alba party is a good example.

Let me explain. There are 129 members of the Scottish parliament. 73 are Constituency MPs and 56 are List MPs. The Constituency MPs get elected by winning the most votes in a geographical area or constituency. It’s the ‘first past the post’ system we are familiar with. The remaining 56 List MPs, however, are elected by the De Hont system which aims to introduce an element of proportional representation. For the past few elections, the SNP have had great success in getting lots of Constituency MPs, but because they have been so successful, they have been heavy ‘losers’ when it comes to winning any of the 56 List MPs. We have the situation, then, where despite the SNP winning huge majorities in what is called the List votes, they don’t get large number of List MPs. They are punished by the system for doing well in the Constituency vote. From a nationalists point of view, then, the way to get around this is quite simple: get nationalist voters to vote for a nationalist party other than the SNP that doesn’t do well in the constituency vote. This was a key strategy of Alex Salmond's Alba party. They wanted nationalist voters' second vote. Many outside the SNP thought if this strategy was followed the Scottish parliament would have a clear nationalist majority and another democratic mandate for another independence referendum. Nicola Sturgeon famously rejected this strategy. Many nationalists saw this as a betrayal and have been bitter towards the SNP leadership ever since.

The more general problem is that the post-2014 SNP has gone woke so that many non-woke nationalists will have nothing to do with the SNP. [Many say the same thing has happened to the American Democratic party of course]. Then the 2021 decision of the SNP to formally pact with the ULTRA-Woke Scottish Green Party was the last straw for many. Scottish nationalism, then, is also at an impasse and stalemate in terms of its political organisation and political representation. The SNP is nationalism’s only political form. That has to change because it’s no secret we have a civil war going on between liberals and conservatives. This civil war is actually very similar to an older civil war within the Scottish National Party that relates to the question of social class. For decades the Scottish National Party, founded in the 1930s, did all it could to NOT take sides on the issue of social class. It was seen as too divisive. It was seen as if, should anyone even mention it, there would be trouble. In the history of the SNP, something called the ‘79 Group’ (led by the late Alex Salmond) had to be formed within the party, and then its members were expelled from the party by the leadership as a ‘faction within.’ This group wanted the SNP to become a left-leaning social democratic party. Their new Left-wing nationalism eventually won the day in the 1990s because the SNP decided to explicitly appeal to working class voters. Today we have a similar problem. We need to have a new grouping that wants to force the issue of liberal v. conservative or progressive v. reactionary. This battle needs to happen and take political form. I think an end to the civil war or unity of a kind in the broad nationalist movement will only be possible when a new centre-right nationalist party forms.

So you might say the problem is diversity. The Scots have grown up and the Trojan Horse of what sociologists call ‘deep value pluralism’ has entered the Scottish nationalist movement. So as a sociologist, I say Scottish nationalism is divided because Scottish society is divided. We can no longer unite or happily share the same platform never mind party or united political strategy come election time. The curse of pluralism has fractured us into a million pieces! A unitary nationalist subject and political movement has disappeared…

It is no secret that America faces a very uncertain future heading into the November 5th elections. On one side are a desperate cadre of elites, criminals, and rabid cultists cowering at the fear of what a Trump electoral victory could mean for their exclusive clique which has run the American political system for at least the last century. On the other side are many ordinary Americans who have been driven to the edge domestically in all aspects of their lives by failed elitist policies and criminal enterprises sanctioned by the increasingly imperial government in Washington DC. It is a mercurial period which is bearing much resemblance to the lead-up of several flashpoints in American history, such as the conflicts in the 1770s, 1860s, and 1940s.

Into the midst of this volatile mixture has been thrust the news that state legislators in West Virginia have proposed legislation whereby the state will refuse to recognize the results of any presidential election it deems compromised. While the full ramifications of such a proposal have yet to make waves in the American political sphere, it was a proposed act of defiance on par with Texas defying Supreme Court orders to open the border earlier in the year. It is also an act which could provide a glimpse into what is coming after November 5th if the “unstoppable force meeting an immovable object” scenario plays out into any one of several previously unthinkable outcomes.

One of the Elites’ favorite mouthpieces, the New York Times, recently released a piece which was seen by many as a warning to the American people that vote rigging, electoral fraud, and manipulation would be going on in the upcoming election, just as it had in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023. This was accompanied by a number of other items raising suspicions. Stories emerged warning of potential mail-in balloting issues, and news that the postal unions (representing those individuals collecting mail-in ballots) were throwing their support behind the Democratic ticket. The return of the master election challenger in the legal realm and legal action taken by the DOJ against governors like Glenn Youngkin for trying to clean up their voting rolls also speaks of efforts to slow or stop any efforts to secure American elections. All this would seem to imply that the Elites are ensuring that electoral fraud plays a major role in yet another election season.

The general assumption among many is that the planned electoral fraud in this election cycle is meant to help ensure Donald Trump is defeated on election night, just as the 2020 effort did. Though a closer look at certain other details shows that there may be more to it than just stopping Trump this time. Trump’s support in the polls is far higher than it was in either 2016 or 2020. This has led to speculation that the sheer volume of votes for him could be enough to overwhelm the efforts to rig the votes against him in certain states. However, the Elites may be ready for that this time with backup plans ready for implementation.

Certain Democratic leaders have been openly admitting that they will likely refuse to certify the election in Trump’s favor if he wins the election night vote. This tactic would only work, however, if those refusing to certify held a majority in the House of Representatives. This then poses the question of whether the Elites may decide to focus on stealing control of Congress instead so as to thwart a Trump return to the White House through the certification process. The polls for the House seem to point to a Democrat advantage, and even if the Republicans do retain control, a slim enough majority would make it easy for a couple elitist Republicans to cross over and prevent a Trump return. The Senate is a close call also with questions as to whether Republican seats in states like Texas and Nebraska might not be ripe for an upset. When taken in conjunction with electoral fraud being a significant factor in this election, a strong possibility exists that the real steal on election night will focus on Congress rather than Trump.

There are other signs to indicate this may indeed be the first backup plan if Trump cannot be defeated in the vote count. The first is that Trump’s sentencing in the New York criminal case was moved to after the election on November 26th. The peculiar re-scheduling of that event would seem to suggest that the Elites might use his conviction and sentencing as justification for not certifying the election. The second is the existence of a bulletin issued from the DC intelligence community warning of widespread “election-related grievances” turning into violence from “domestic extremists.” Logically, the only reason for publication of such a bulletin would be the expectation of a significant backlash from disgruntled Americans who see themselves as robbed of the candidate they freely chose. The third, and perhaps most telling, sign is the security precautions being implemented for the Capitol on January 6th, 2025, the day the 2024 election results will be certified. It is a preparation rooted in fear and public image, and hints that those pulling strings in DC are expecting their actions on that date to be wildly unpopular with the general public.

Taken together, these facts seem to indicate the Elites’ first backup plan is disqualifying Trump through controlling Congress and refusing to certify his election. If that were to happen, the question would become: who would replace Trump? In that case, Congress could have two choices. The first choice would be to declare that the runner-up wins by default, putting Kamala Harris in power. The second choice would be to invoke the line of succession as laid out in the Presidential Succession Act of 1947. With the executive offices vacant due to the winning ticket being declared ineligible to serve, the Speaker of the House—in this case likely Hakeem Jeffries—would be promoted to the presidency. In either case, the people’s choice would be removed, and a clear indication given as to who holds the real power. Undoubtedly, the Elites believe that such a show of power would break the people’s defiance by showing them the futility of further electoral resistance.

What if the Elites fail to prevent a sweep on election night and Trump not only wins, but his party manages to win control of at least one house of Congress? Here again, it appears that the Elites have put pieces in place for yet another backup plan, namely a third edition of the Russia-gate narrative. It makes sense they would go this way as DC is currently engaged in a proxy war with Russia in eastern Europe, and the first two editions of Russia-gate in 2016 and 2020 worked so well in helping the Elites derail Trump and his agenda. Certain legal foundations for another Russia-gate investigation were laid in early 2024, and a narrative surrounding Russian interference in American internal affairs began to accelerate in the middle of the year. First, there was the Russians-paying-TENET-media story—which certain observers stated had all the indications of being a psy-op of some kind—to broadly paint all media not defending the Elites’ narrative as being stooges for Russia, specifically the Russian news service known as RT. This was followed by proclamations from DC of the dangers of the RT news channel and the need to wage war against it, despite the fact that it has already been banned in most of Europe and it’s reach into America is minimal at best. Then, in what is to date the crowning claim of all, journalist Bob Woodward has claimed in a new book that Trump and Putin have had at least seven phone calls since Trump left office in 2021. This claim has prompted comments from Elites like Susan Rice that Trump has violated the Logan Act, which could tie the whole third edition of the Russia-gate narrative together and give the Elites’ the political ammunition they need to remove Trump from office. It also could lead to widespread arrests of those in the alternative media sphere as agents of Russia and a crackdown on free speech which so many Elites have been calling for in the last several weeks.

The darkest backup plan the Elites seem to have in their list of options is that of resistance which could take a war-like turn. Some months ago, Tucker Carlson discussed this prospect with a guest who revealed that the Elites were game-planning war-like scenarios in response to a Trump victory, building off the precedent of similar scenarios which the Elites game-planned for leading up to the 2020 elections. An in-depth look at one of these Elite game-planning sessions revealed very disturbing thought processes on the part of those who were participating; thought processes which seem rooted in strategizing for a brutal domestic conflict. The kind of domestic conflict which the Elites have ignited in other areas of the world such as Africa, Southwest Asia, and Eastern Europe. It would appear that the Elites are resolved to destroy America’s self-governing structures through violence as a last resort, should all other efforts to maintain their grip on power fail.

The Elites cannot permit the people of America to take back control of their own governance. Too many plans will be in peril, too many criminal agendas in danger of being exposed, too many schemes for wealth and power will be destroyed. While Trump himself will not accomplish any of these results, the Elites clearly fear that a successful return to the White House on his part would ignite a domino effect which would lead to the American people eventually accomplishing those ends themselves. That is why there is a real desperation on the part of the Elites to stop Trump. It is not Trump himself that they truly fear, it is what his victory might inspire others to achieve which has them in utter panic.

Taken together, these details would seem to point to the truth of geopolitical analyst Martin Armstrong’s forecast that “we should be prepared for NOBODY to accept this election REGARDLESS of who wins.” The stakes are too high for the opposing sides to simply accept losing, especially if one’s very survival might hinge on the result. The Elites’ hold on the levers of power gives them an advantage in determining who America’s leaders will be come late January 2025, which makes it very likely that Trump will be prevented from taking office through one or more of the means just listed, even if the election results are in his favor. If this is the result, what happens next?

This is where the act of the West Virginia legislators mentioned at the beginning comes into perspective. With the stakes so high, it is no longer unthinkable that certain states as well as state and local leaders would begin to take very serious steps to defy DC in the face of what would be perceived as a blatant coup d’état. A taste of this was seen in the Texas border standoff earlier in 2024 when 25 states (joined later by the legislatures of Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, and North Carolina) rallied behind Texas’ open defiance of stand down orders from not only the current administration, but the Supreme Court in regards to securing the border. This stark divide could re-appear very quickly post-election if the blatant power-grabbing tactics of many Elites become too much for local leaders to ignore. With the Elites unlikely to back down in the face of such defiance, it is hard not to see a “national divorce” resulting from the constitutional crisis which will unfold from any of the possible actions listed. America will begin to divide naturally, first states from the DC union, then certain states will divide as local communities seek to join with those of similar values to protect their culture and heritage.

The future is impossible to foretell with specificity. However, as the novelist Charles Dickens once wrote “Men's courses will foreshadow certain ends, to which, if persevered in, they must lead.” The courses of the parties involved in the unfolding drama all point to a forthcoming political division of America and much of the world. Even if the events which lead to this end only contain elements of the plans which seem to be put in place for the near future, it does not mean that the result will be any different. The Age of Centralization is reaching it’s tragic and foreseeable end. The question that now remains for those tasked with rebuilding civilization from the shattered pieces of a failed world order is: will the correct remedies be gleaned from these lessons on the dangers of state power? For therein lies the path to truth and peace.

One of Ron Paul’s most famous quotes from his presidential campaigns was “An Idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government.” A cursory look over history shows the truth of such a statement, with the rise and fall of many ideas, institutions, and nations over the course of time, from the ancient days of Egypt, Greece, and Rome to the old European and Totalitarian empires of the 20th century. As the 21st Century has progressed, evidence all around is showing that yet another drastic era of change is unfolding, with the current Elite classes and structures collapsing under the weight of their own incompetence and corruption.

Thanks to the internet, the Elite classes’ utter failure is being revealed to the world, both through the efforts of intrepid citizen journalists and everyday people on the ground sharing their first-hand experiences with the elites’ destructive policies. As the full depth of the Elites’ failure and corruption has been unveiled, the common people are also finding out that the extent of the corruption is such that the current correction mechanisms (i.e.: elections) are now largely inadequate as a means of political change. This has necessitated a search for other means by which peaceful political change might be accomplished. It is this, more than anything, which has driven the rapidly rising interest in secession as a political solution across the world.

The rising tide of secession was put on full display on September 28th, 2024, as the first ever International Summit on Self-Determination was held online. Hosted by the Calexit Now movement, the summit saw a number of self-determination movements from across the world send representatives to both introduce their movements, and engage in dialogue on secession matters. From the United States, Calexit Now, Free Louisiana, the Alaskan Independence Party, FLexit, the Hawaii Sovereignty movement, and multiple New Hampshire Independence movements were all represented. The Texas Nationalist Movement sent a video address to the conference, though they were unable to fully participate due to a schedule conflict. From other corners of the globe, the Movimiento Independentista de Baja California from Mexico and the Cape Independence Party from South Africa both had representatives present. The Second Vermont Republic, the Alberta Independence Party from Canada, and the Junts per Catalunya from Spain had also been announced as intending to participate, but technical or scheduling issues reportedly prevented them from doing so. In all, movements from nine distinctly different areas were represented, both in the presentation session and the discussions which followed.

The diverse natures of the movements and their representatives was on full display during the presentation sessions, which all contributed very notable, and yet very different, insights on self-determination and secession and the reasons to pursue them. Free Louisiana leader Larkin Jackson observed in his presentation that “our eyes should not be on who gets in the White House, but rather the people standing beside us, working to make the state a better place” and “we have to remind our people that when empires recede, they often divide.” Through these statements, Jackson laid out how convincing Louisianans to support self-determination was rooted in connecting the cause of Louisiana independence to the need for self-preservation, in preparation for the inevitable unraveling of the DC Empire.

Cape Independence Party representative Jack Miller contributed observations that many large countries are a conglomeration of naturally independent states and different peoples, making continued unification both impractical and detrimental to the well-being of the common people. Using South Africa’s history and diverse racial makeup to explain his points, Miller laid out how centralization inevitably leaves the common people of certain areas at a distinct disadvantage, especially in realms such as taxes and government spending. FLexit activist Keith Bessette followed with a detailed economic analysis. Through it, he showed how FLexit activists were seeking to convince everyday Floridians of the economic feasibility of Florida Independence, as well as how the majority of Florida’s problems originated with “The Imperial City” (Washington DC).

Bessette also proceeded to make a very poignant point in favor of decentralization, citing a talk given by Mises Institute scholar Dr. Thomas Woods. He first drew on Woods’ question of how different the world would have been had over 1700 independent political entities not been gradually consolidated into one massive German state by the late 19th century. Using that as the foundation of his point, Bessette observed that continued German decentralization would have made it impossible for Adolf Hitler to wreak the sheer amount of devastation across Europe which he did in the mid-20th century. “Unification has a history of problems” Bessette astutely concluded. He also pointed out how the act of secession is really peaceful in nature, while any violence results from the efforts of the larger states to retain control. Bessette’s observations led Cape Independence Party representative Miller to add a deduction of his own that “All wars are a result of centralization.”

New Hampshire representatives Dave Ridley and Russell Kanning then presented on the New Hampshire Independence efforts, giving a hat-tip to the Free State Project which had brought many independence believers to New Hampshire. They also pointed out the more decentralized nature of their efforts, with at least six or seven different movements all engaging in secession activism, and explained how this had been a strength of their movement for independence. Kanning also added a little humor to the presentation by commenting “Our main plan of attack is for Texas to leave first, and then we’re going to sneak out the side door.”

Pete Peterson, representing the Alaskan Independence Party, laid out how Alaskans were becoming fed up at being used “as a resource colony by the federal government.” After detailing Alaska’s many grievances against far away Washington DC, Peterson proceeded to explain how Alaska’s resources and their ability to develop them made self-government very feasible. He clarified that Alaskans harbored no anti-American sentiments, but merely wished to have their own unique culture and right to self-determination respected through new bridges established with all nations. He also warned that governments do not easily give up control, and that people supporting these movements should be prepared to protect themselves in case violence is carried out against them.

Movimiento Independentista de Baja California spokesman Jay Arias began his presentation explaining how the splitting of the US state of California and the Mexican state of Baja California in 1848 had been unwanted by the local peoples. He further expounded how close ties still existed between the two Californias, as well as how Baja was being neglected and abused by Mexico City just like American states were by Washington DC. This, he added, had contributed to growing independence sentiment in the area over the last decade. Arias then concluded that recent positive secession results in Baja, of small towns seceding from larger cities and economically thriving, had given their movement an added selling point in growing independence support.

Hawaii sovereignty activist Poka Laenui put forward Hawaii’s background of being an independent nation until the late 19th century. He then meticulously laid out how the United States government, working in coordination with American citizens living in Hawaii, had conspired to remove Hawaii’s government and annex the islands without the Hawaiian people’s consent. He further added that, in the 1950s, the United States government had engaged in machinations to avoid applying UN guarantees of self-determination to the Alaska and Hawaii territories. The United States government had forced both territories to choose statehood by not offering them an independence option and restricting voting rights on the statehood question to American citizens rather than letting all Hawaiians or Alaskans vote. Laenui then explained that building support for Hawaii Independence had revolved around explaining to Hawaiians how they had not been given the true self-determination option at the time they became a state.

The Texas Nationalist Movement’s address to the summit, given by TNM president Daniel Miller, emphasized that self-determination was a human right with all political power inherent in the people as laid out in Article 1, Section 2 of the Texas Constitution. This, Miller asserted, meant that governance must always align with the will of the people. He further elaborated on the dangers of the forces of centralization, which are hard at work seeking to impose a single vision on all the peoples of the world, and removing everything distinctive about them and their cultures. While the centralizers’ efforts were continuing to pose severe dangers, Miller pointed out that the rise of independence movements across the world was a sign of hope. A sign of the resilience of the local peoples and their communities within the world, and the only truly effective way in which the centralizers’ plans could be counteracted. “We are here to affirm that our movements, whether from Alberta, Catalonia, the Cape, or Texas, are determined to secure our futures. We stand in solidarity because we understand that self-governance is not a distant dream. It is a necessity” Miller said. He finished his address by laying out Texas’ general path towards independence, and emphasizing how real change towards independence only happens at the most local level, commending the other movements for their local grassroots efforts.

Finally the event organizers, Marcus Ruiz Evans and Jason Wright, presented on their own movement: Calexit Now. They began by explaining that Calexit was not contingent on who won elections on the national stage, but rather was committed to going through with independence for California regardless, because the American system was coming apart and was no longer congenial to what needed to be done for the good of California. What followed was a long description of California’s grievances with the federal government, and how California politicians like Kamala Harris often gave up any attachment to the policies they had previously espoused at the state-level when they were elected to the federal level. This, they stated, made it imperative for California to seek it’s own destiny as an independent state free of Washington DC.

The summit concluded with a general discussion among the attendees. Topics discussed included similar patterns noticed among all the movements represented, as well as sharing strategies to keep their movements going in the face of heightening government restrictions, censorship and other attacks. Some movements gave more details about their own individual efforts, such as the Cape Independence Party detailing their ongoing efforts in South Africa. There was also a conversation on marketing strategies for secession movements, and how to structure a movement’s image so that it would be perceived by the general public as serious and viable. The biggest takeaway from the discussion, however, was the common themes running through all of the movements, which were boiled down to the following four points:

1. Looking back historically, none of the areas represented at the summit had ever freely agreed or signed on to a union with the country they were currently part of. Rather history showed they were forced into it.

2. All of the respective areas’ resources were going somewhere else and the areas were not being adequately compensated for their resources by those higher political entities taking their resources.

3. Many of the political decisions affecting the respective areas were being made by leaders far away who had no idea what negative effects these decisions were having on the local people.

4. Centralized governments were the root cause of the problems afflicting all these different areas.

Though small in size and, in the words of the organizers, “a test run”, this first International Summit on Self-Determination was another unquestionable sign that a new stage in the development of the ideas of self-determination has arrived. As secession spreads across the world as an unfolding phenomenon, it is becoming more and more clear that the political order is undergoing a change which will leave the world looking more radically different politically then it ever has. Secession is an idea whose time has indeed come, for as American commentator Michael Malice has eloquently opined: “Some houses don’t need to remain standing at all.”

Summer and Autumn are times when local economic opportunities are expressed more openly; from lemonade stands to farmers markets where locals trade with one another in town squares, pavilions, and parks. These are people committed to providing quality produce – an essential commitment because it has never been more convenient to pass up a farmer's market and lemonade stand. Consider that groceries purchased online can be delivered in one day. Granted, the buyer has to open the front door and put them away, but the convenience is a no-brainer. Quality is the only selling point that these small businesspeople can use to compete, and many excel. Though they do seek monetary return for their labors, it is merely a part of the wholesome satisfaction that comes from a free, reciprocal, and unforced transaction. These are hard-working, honest individuals, who have no corporate overlord wielding a metaphorical whip over them. This means they have the freedom to more freely adapt to consumers’ changing needs and to make deals with those who have a special need or limited resources. They also more readily recognize and reward faithful patrons who continue to give them business. In short, this economic activity is the closest thing to the pure free market as described by Mises, Hazlitt, & Rothbard.

In America (and the West in general) which is in deep economic decay, this is the kind of economic activity which needs support from the people now more than ever. America’s current economy is largely run by crony capitalists who have created a totalitarian behemoth known as “Corporate America.” Here economic activity has been centralized to the benefit of a well connected few who then treat employees as mere cogs in a machine with no regard for their humanity or individual strengths and weaknesses. Conformity is the name of the game in order to survive within the corporate world, no matter how immoral, unethical or unfeasible the situation. Considering the unrealistic demands placed on peoples' physical, mental, psychological, and emotional abilities, it is no wonder that there are skyrocketing cases of depression, exhaustion, drug abuse and many other health ailments which seventy years ago would have been unthinkable. The system is designed to be run by a few string pullers at the top for the benefit of the well connected and to ensure an ever-increasing class gap between common people and elites.

Like all totalitarian systems, this corporate arrangement is not sustainable. Stifling and abuse of the human creative spirit cannot continue forever. The top-heavy nature of the system ensures that, as the mistakes, crimes, and cover-ups of its manipulators become more egregious, instability grows until it finally collapses. This was how the Soviet Union collapsed economically in the late 1980s and early 1990s, which resulted in its subsequent political dissolution. In America, and many other places around the world, the same scenario is unfolding as corporations are trying to get by with fewer employees doing more jobs. Fewer services and poor quality goods are being offered, and there are more frequent occurrences of empty shelves and re-stocking delays for extensive periods. Government guaranteed profits have become the top priority for corporate elites, replacing customer and employee satisfaction. As a result, the quality of corporate-produced products, services, and jobs has been undergoing an accelerating decline. Now more corporate businesses are declaring bankruptcy due to exhausted, underpaid workers leaving and dissatisfied customers cutting back due to rising inflation and disgust with deteriorating quality.

As the collapse of this corrupt corporate structure unfolds, it is imperative that the common people replace it by building up and supporting local businesses, such as farmers markets, product creators (i.e.: woodworkers and craftsmen), specialists (i.e.: lawyers, electricians, tutors), local traders (non-nationwide-chain stores) and, of course, lemonade stands. This will ensure that the economic transition, when it happens, will be smoother and less painful than it otherwise would have been. Local business relationships will be built which will enable communities to withstand the shock of the failure of nationwide corporate businesses as DC's empire unwinds.

This will re-orient economic growth from dependency on international connections to a focus on local resources and needs. This will be a tremendous benefit to everyone in the long-term as economic downturns and re-adjustments in one area will be unlikely to affect individuals in others. Steady and consistent economic activity will continue for more people across wider segments of the world as recessionary pressures will be contained to smaller segments specifically affected by the downturn. A shorter lifespan for economic recessions and depressions will result as local problems causing these economic downturns will be more easily addressed and more quickly resolved by those closest to the situation.

The greatest benefit which will result from this new focus will be the decentralized nature of the economy. It will substantially check the ability of certain individuals to gather enough economic power to manipulate local economies across wide segments of the world, and influence political matters to the detriment of individual liberty. The decentralized focus will also help establish a bulwark against political centralization by helping people to keep their focus on the local issues instead of looking to issues beyond the borders of their own community. It will provide incentives for people to seek satisfaction and peace in their own community, rather than lusting for more power over others and so repeating the mistakes that have led to the current economic predicament.

There will be pain and inconvenience as the old economic system ends. Many who have benefited from the old system will be forced into a stark learning curve as they go through the adjustments needed to support themselves independently. Even here though, individuals will benefit as they become better acquainted with their communities by helping each other re-build economically as Corporate America collapses. A new spirit of charity and respect will be discovered as each person learns how to support himself on his own merits while appreciating the merits of others. It all begins with the first step of withdrawing business from Corporate America and instead supporting a local lemonade stand, farmers market, small manufacturer, trader, or craftsman.

The situation was the return of exiled Catalan independence leader Carles Puigdemont to Catalonia after a seven year exile to address the people whose independence he has worked for at great personal cost for the last eight years. In 2017, while serving as President of the Catalan regional government, he and the Catalan Parliament held the Catalan independence referendum in which the people of Catalonia voted overwhelmingly in favor of independence. In response to the vote and subsequent Catalan declaration of independence, the Elites in Madrid dispatched a heavily militarized police force to brutally repress the Catalan people. Puigdemont and members of his government fled into exile in a bid to keep the Catalan independence effort alive politically, and they have worked for the independence of their homeland from abroad ever since.

The Elites in Madrid implemented a totalitarian crackdown on all those who had supported Catalan independence in any way. Hundreds, if not thousands, of Catalans were convicted of “political crimes” and either sentenced to prison or severely penalized. Public displays of Catalan independence symbols were outlawed by Madrid and those who disobeyed were subjected to extensive lawfare attacks. By early 2023, the Elites were so confident they had the Catalan situation in hand that the French and Spanish leaders, Emmanuel Macron and Pedro Sanchez, held a summit in Barcelona, which was seen as a deliberate mocking of the Catalans and their independence hopes.

The Elite-created narrative of a dying Catalan independence movement was proven false six months later with the 2023 Spanish general elections where Catalan independence parties ended up holding the kingmaker power to determine which general side could form a ruling coalition. As part of an agreement for their support, Spanish prime minister Sanchez promised a full amnesty for all those who had been prosecuted for supporting the referendum. Though an amnesty law was eventually passed, Elitist factions in Madrid have gone to great lengths to hinder and cripple it’s implementation, especially in regards to Puigdemont, who they are clearly trying to prevent from returning to Catalonia.

In addition, to try and re-create the narrative of a fading Catalan independence movement, the Spanish Elites seized upon the inconclusive results of the May 2024 local Catalan elections as a sign of the fading of Catalan independence popularity. A closer look at the actual results does not support this narrative however, as Catalan independence parties clearly still won the most seats (though not an absolute majority) in the Catalan Parliament, and took three of the five parliamentary leadership positions. Though the socialists took the Catalan presidency, they were able to do so only by forming a coalition with a pro-independence party. The governing setup could hardly be construed as a true setback for Catalan separatism, though the Globalist media went out of its way to try and portray it as such.

The Globalists’ public portrayal of the Catalan situation was utterly shattered, however, by Puigdemont’s sudden return and the fallout which resulted. In a brazen show of defiance, Puigdemont announced ahead of time that he intended to return to Catalonia on the day the new Catalan parliament officially took office. Speculation ran rife on what would happen if he were to be arrested upon his return, as active arrest warrants were still out in Spain for him. There were also questions as to why he would so openly announce his return ahead of time and so alert Spanish law enforcement to be on the lookout for him.

Then the day arrived and events moved quickly. True to his word, Puigdemont returned to Catalonia. He addressed a large crowd at the iconic Arc de Triomf monument with a simple message:

“I’ve come today to remind you that we’re still here,” Puigdemont told thousands of cheering supporters. “Long live Catalonia!”

It was what happened next which truly shocked all observers following the situation however. Though Puigdemont had originally announced his intent to go to the Catalan Parliament, which he is still technically a member of, it was quickly realized that such a move would be impossible because of the police presence. As his speech ended, the police moved into to arrest Puigdemont. However Puigdemont’s supporters bundled him away from the scene so quickly that the police soon lost all track of him and had to resort to draconian stop-and-search measures of cars all across Catalonia in their efforts to find him. Hours later word emerged that Puigdemont had successfully left Spain and was returning to his place of exile in Belgium. Dumbfounded Spanish authorities expressed their doubts initially that Puigdemont could have escaped, but within a day video evidence emerged confirming Puigdemont had safely returned to Belgium.

As the dust settled from the whole affair, the ramifications of what had just happened became clear. In one of the most brilliantly executed public image maneuvers ever, Puigdemont had exposed the lies of the Elites for the world to see. If the Catalan independence movement had truly been in decline as the Globalist Elites claimed, there would have been no way for Puigdemont to both get in and out of Catalonia without being arrested, let alone address a cheering crowd of supporters. The details of his return and subsequent escape showed not only Catalans, but also much of the world, what the reality of the situation in Catalonia was; the reality which the Elites had been trying for so long to cover up. The cause of Catalan independence was alive, strong, and well.

The other blow Puigdemont struck at the Elites was in showing up their hideous incompetence. The failure of the Elitist-dominated Spanish government to apprehend the man who is likely their most wanted fugitive internationally, especially when they were given a golden opportunity to do so within their own borders, is an embarrassment of incredible magnitude. It is a serious challenge to the legitimacy of the Spanish national government in the eyes of the public. It raises the question in the minds of their people of whether the Spanish leaders and governing institutions are in any way competent to handle the nation’s challenges, whether real or elite-driven. With such doubts now sown among the people, support for more local-based self-governing movements across Spain will inevitably grow as further incompetence on the part of the Elite classes becomes more and more apparent.

The greatest impact Puigdemont’s adventure had on the world however, was in revealing the two distinct Achilles Heels which afflict the Elites’ and their Globalist agenda. He showed the stark truth that the Elites are completely detached from reality and how that lack of knowledge about the realities among the people can be used against them by those who oppose the Globalist agenda. He also revealed the sheer depth of the incompetence which exists among those clueless individuals who the Elites have placed in the positions of governmental power and influence to implement the Globalist agenda. While the Elite circles themselves may contain some individuals who can boast strategic talent, the people beneath them who they have have tasked with carrying out the implementation of the Globalist agendas are largely uninventive, single-minded, yes-men. These individuals possess no ability to think rationally for themselves and so are unable to adequately address challenges and resistance which comes from those who oppose the Globalist agenda and are inventive enough to design clever pushbacks against this agenda. Individuals like Puigdemont and those who assisted in his brilliant caper. These revelations should stir great hope in the hearts of local resisters to the Globalist agenda that they too may succeed in the long run in their resistance if they attack the Elites where they are most vulnerable: in using reality to their advantage, and in taking advantage of the sheer incompetence of the lower-level minions.

There is a scene in the first “Pirates of the Caribbean” film where two of the heroes, Jack Sparrow and Will Turner, engage in a rather unorthodox tactic to reach a ship they wish to commandeer without being observed approaching it. As they carry it out, Turner observes: “This is either madness or brilliance.” Sparrow answers: “It’s remarkable how often those two traits coincide.” Puigdemont’s tactics in his recent escapade clearly fall into that category. On the face of it, the chance taken was immense and the immediate impact was minimal. However, the magnitude of the Elites’ failure in the affair was such that they felt compelled to scramble together a weak narrative that the whole matter was actually a defeat for Puigdemont. In the bigger picture however, Puigdemont’s strategy was clearly planned for the long-term: to de-legitimize the authority of the Spanish Elites in the eyes of the wider world by showing the reality of local Catalan support for independence, and exposing the incompetence of the Elitist tyrants in Madrid. In this he succeeded in spectacular fashion, and may have earned himself a place in the history books as one of the world’s most brilliant inspirers of resistance to tyranny.

In recent years, not many ordinary people paid attention to secession movements such as Scotland in 2014 or Catalonia in 2017. Today, however, the corruption and hubris of elites has resulted in rapid deterioration of societies across the world. It is motivating people to search for solutions that cut directly to the root of problems which are now becoming quite painful to them. The origin of these pressing problems lies in the political realm, and while ruling classes stifle the traditional avenues of political change, namely elections and electoral opposition, citizens have been forced to look for other means to effectively address the problems. It is this development more than anything else, which is now driving the rising popularity of “secession as a solution.”

Noteworthy secession movements and overall sentiment for independence are both growing at a rapid pace across the world. Some secession movements have progressed to more advanced stages than others, but they are all on the rise. Across Europe, where citizens are obviously suffering from the failures of elite classes, secession sentiment is rising so fast that, in many cases, the rulers of old empires are being forced to pivot from intimidation to negotiation as their power structures crumble.

In Spain, Catalan independence has undergone a dramatic transformation in fortunes over the last eighteen months. It was an object of mockery for the Elitist classes in January 2023, but their position was reversed upon becoming the “kingmakers” in forming Spain’s new government following the 2023 elections. This resulted in an amnesty law which decriminalized the practice of calling for independence from Spain and gave new life to the Catalan separatist movement. It also seems to have inspired rising support for separatist movements in other parts of Northern Spain such as the Basque Provinces and Galicia.

France also faces a future which seems destined for breakup. After being unceremoniously ousted from it's position of influence in central Africa, the French elites have tried to keep up the nation's pose as a player on the world stage, especially in regards to the conflict in Ukraine with their bellicose rhetoric towards Russia. It seems to be an act covering a very fragile domestic situation where protests on multiple issues from farming to immigration have shaken the country to its core. Emboldened, separatists on the island of Corsica have taken this opportunity to force President Macron to the bargaining table to discuss their demands. Meanwhile, separatist movements in Brittany, French Catalonia, and other areas have been revived and will likely be in a position to make similar moves in the near future.

Even the recent historical powerhouses of Europe, Britain and Brussels, are being pulled apart by separatist forces. Brussels, the capitol of the European Union and headquarters of NATO, is facing the prospect of being surrounded by Eurosceptic territory if a local Flemish secession party, seeking independence from both Belgium and the European Union, works it's way into control in Flanders in the not-too-distant future. Britain's elites face even more pressure as the last vestige of their larger empire, the British Commonwealth, is headed for dissolution, with multiple Commonwealth nations planning to depart. Within it’s home territory electoral dissatisfaction is rife, and several movements are arising which seek to divide the British Isles into multiple countries. There are discussions about reforming Scottish Nationalism and bringing about a second independence referendum. In Wales, the Welsh nationalist party appears to be rising in electoral momentum and polls are showing growing support for independence which could soon morph into more intense political activism. Voters in Northern Ireland recently brought the Sinn Fein party to power, a party with intentions to negotiate secession from Great Britain and a reunification with the Republic of Ireland. Even in the far north, the Orkney Islands are discussing secession from Britain to either seek independence or to join with a nearby nation.

Africa, Asia, Oceania

The old remnants of colonialism and totalitarianism in Africa, Asia, and Oceania are showing their true natures as their control begins to wane with rising calls for freedom and local governance. Several nations in central Africa seem to be in the process of ridding themselves of the last vestiges of European colonialism. The recent expulsion of French influence from several colonies in the area over the last five years has been a consistent signal of this ongoing trend. In other nations across these three continents, colonial and totalitarian influences are causing an untenable situation for the peoples in their respective territories. This is driving them to seek separation from those powers corrupted by these influences.

In Nigeria a test run of a CBDC program by the Elites failed spectacularly through mass nullification by the Nigerian population. The economic fallout from the CBDC implementation attempt, along with the ongoing violence from the Boko Haram terrorist group (another Western-caused malady), is now driving the people in different parts of Nigeria to seek their own solutions through self-governance. The long-repressed Biafra Independence movement in southeastern Nigeria is beginning to find it’s voice again as they deal with the added burden of discrimination from the national government and it’s dominant factions. Meanwhile the Yoruba peoples of southwestern Nigeria recently took steps to assert their independence, which has left Nigerian politicians in a state of bewilderment as they try to regain control of their country.

Further down the coast in South Africa, the collapsing economy and widespread racial tensions exacerbated by Marxist political parties have created instability. Consequently, many outside the circles of power have been taking matters of peace and self-governance into their own hands. In the Western Cape province, with its distinctly unique culture, racial mix, and economic situation, a movement for independence is rapidly rising in popularity. Its rising popularity has now begun alarming many of the elites holding political power in South Africa, who are resorting to baseless accusations of racism and apartheid to stop them. Northeast of the Cape, the Afrikaner peoples in the community of Orania, are slowly establishing their economic independence from the rest of South Africa’s failing economy. Many see this as a step on the path to establish an independent state for the Afrikaners, who have also been labeled as racists and apartheid sympathizers by elite classes in South Africa.

Across the Indian Ocean in the former Spanish and American colony of the Philippines, a major political crisis is unfolding between two leading political factions within the country. One is beholden to American interests which seek to join in on ratcheting up tensions with China, and the other is seeking to preserve peace by seeking good relations with all its neighbors. With the one faction holding dominance and pursuing the tensions with China, the other has proposed that its main base of support, the island of Mindanao, should secede from the rest of the Philippines and proceed on its own course. While the backlash from many leading politicians in the country has been considerable, the proposal has generated conversation within the country concerning the grievances Mindanao has suffered from other parts of the nation for several years.

Finally, on the neighboring continent of Oceania, two different islands are seeking independence as the solution to problems brought about by outdated political attachments, with a third island weighing it’s options. The island of Bougainville is seeking to resolve a sixty year situation where it’s resources have been exploited and mismanaged by elitist corporatists with no benefit for the people of the island. They are now awaiting final approval of a national divorce agreement in which they would separate from Papua New Guinea and assert control over their own resources for their people’s benefit. Nearby on the island of New Caledonia, rising local agitation for secession has been proving a challenge to the French in their bid to retain control of one of their last colonies. Lastly, the people of the island of Yap, in response to reported neglect from their rulers in the Micronesian government, recently endorsed a ballot measure calling for a re-evaluation of their status, which includes exploring the secession option.

North America

On the North American continent, the people are finally seeing for themselves how the elite classes of their respective nations have grown rich and fat on the largesse of foreign lobbyists and crony capitalists while ignoring the needs of the populace. There are more and more people with a new-found desire to re-assert control of their own governance. Beginning with steps by parents taking over their local school boards, it has now expanded into widespread efforts to nullify tyrannical laws. Resistance is only part of the story though; there is growing support for secession movements across multiple states.

The secession process is most advanced on the island of Greenland, one of the last European colonies still existing in North America. In 2021, a left wing pro-independence party allied with other more dedicated independence parties in the aftermath of local elections to form a new government in Nuuk. This government put forward a draft constitution for an independent Greenland in mid-2023 intended for parliamentary discussion and research before presenting it to Denmark as proof of their plan to separate. Denmark has political reasons for it's reluctance to let Greenland go, but there has been a lack of united hostility in geopolitical circles to the idea, which speaks well for its prospects in the near-future.

The indicators of national divorce are becoming more and more apparent in Canada. Canada’s elite classes are drunk on power since they appear to have gotten away with egregious abuses of said power during the COVID lockdowns and the Freedom Convoy crackdowns. Now Justin Trudeau and his tyrannical government in Ottawa have started engaging in dangerous rhetoric and actions towards opposing leaders, which has raised tensions across Canada’s political landscape.

The tensions are highest in the west where a well-formed resistance to elite agendas is being led by Alberta premier Danielle Smith. In one of her first acts as premier in late 2022, Smith began to forcefully assert Alberta’s sovereignty within Canada, introducing the Alberta Sovereignty Act. It was shortly followed by a similar assertion of sovereignty by Saskatchewan premier Scott Moe and the Saskatchewan legislature. In response, Ottawa threatened to take away the western provinces’ rights to their natural resources which generated a fierce backlash. The backlash proved to be popular with the people, propelling Smith to a resounding electoral win some months later, which further emboldened local leaders to stand their ground.

As this situation settled into a tense stalemate, more immediate tensions began rising in response to Trudeau playing favorites in the implementation of his green agenda. This prompted Smith to invoke the Sovereignty Act to protect Alberta from these regulations while Moe worked to see laws passed declaring that Saskatchewan would not collect certain taxes demanded by the regulations. Again, the response from Ottawa was swift, with Trudeau threatening to arrest Moe. Trudeau also went so far as to engage in illegal negotiations with local entities in Alberta to undermine Smith’s power. Neither of these actions has deterred Moe or Smith from standing their ground and pushing back however. With no prospects for a resolution in sight, it seems tensions will only grow between Ottawa and these western provinces for the foreseeable future.

On the eastern front, the province of Quebec has largely different quarrels with Ottawa, but the tensions are growing there too. The secessionist Parti Quebecois' surge in popularity and their promise of a third referendum on Quebec independence makes it clear the people of Quebec have had enough of Ottawa’s political heavy-handedness. The secessionist sentiment has apparently grown so strong that the Parti Quebecois felt obliged to unveil a detailed plan explaining how, as an independent nation, Quebec would maintain it’s sovereignty. While elections are not expected for two years yet, the momentum is trending in the right direction for Quebec to split from Canada in the not-too-distant future. A slowly growing sovereigntist movement in the neighboring province of New Brunswick would also benefit, as Quebec independence would create a political barrier between the province and Ottawa. That would give New Brunswickers added incentive to break away from Canada as well.

In the United States, a nation which has long been propagandized to oppose secession because of details surrounding the American War Between the States, the long-standing narrative is losing its hold on the people. Recent electoral disasters and mindless governance from the top have shown the people just how depraved, corrupt, and out-of-touch the elite classes have become. A key indicator of the change in mood was revealed in the positive popular response from everyday people to Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s public comments endorsing the concept of National Divorce. With the regular avenues of change, such as the electoral process, now so corrupted in America as to be effectively useless, the people have had to begin exploring other means to bring about necessary change. Rising unchecked crime, illegal immigration, a rapidly dying economy, and the forced implementation of repulsive ideologies have just added urgency to the need to find an avenue for meaningful change.

America also boasts the unique secession phenomenon of “border-changing movements” where smaller political entities such as counties and cities seek to separate from corrupted higher political entities while remaining within the larger American framework. The most prominent of these movements in the public eye are the Greater Idaho and Illinois Separation movements, but they are hardly the only ones. Proposals and efforts in this realm have begun to explode across the nation, especially in areas where elite failure is far more pronounced.

One of the most advanced secession causes in the United States is in Texas, where the Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM) has been bringing believers in Texian sovereignty together to push for Texas independence from DC. The Texas Border Crisis of early 2024 thrust the Texas nationalism issue into the spotlight and has inspired more Texans than ever before into supporting the TNM and its secessionist cause. The Elites have tried to keep the lid on the talk about Texas secession, most notably through their shady machinations which kept a non-binding question about Texit off the Republican primary ballot. All that did was show the depth of their desperation to hang on to power. The steady takeover of the Texas Republican party by Texit supporters has continued despite these setbacks, and the growing possibility of Texas independence in the near-future has inspired neighboring counties in Colorado and New Mexico to propose movements to secede from their respective states and join Texas in it’s bid for independence.

Not far behind Texas is the northeastern state of New Hampshire and their NH Independence Movement (NHexit). Here local initiatives to re-assert the state’s sovereignty have been slowly garnering support. Innovative proposals such as bills setting a debt limit secession trigger and seeking to withdraw the state from the Federal Reserve system have ignited debate over what preparations for eventual secession might look like. Though push back from loyalist figures have slowed the movement’s progress, steadily increasing support has shown up in larger vote totals in the legislature, rising activism among the populace, and efforts to lay the groundwork for an alliance with the Texas Nationalist Movement which would continue after secession. All are positive signs of a state which is already in a secessionist mindset and looking to clear away local hindrances to that fast-approaching reality.

The Greater Idaho movement in the Pacific Northwest seeks to have counties from eastern and southern Oregon, northern California, and southeast Washington separate from their respective states and join Idaho. The movement has widespread public support in eastern Oregon (in spite of an opposition movement with elitist connections) and a resume of successful county-level referendums endorsing the proposal. The demonstration of widespread support has prompted action from Idaho's legislature to hold hearings on these Oregon counties’ requests. It has also led to the first summit between Idaho and Oregon state legislators, with county officials and Greater Idaho representatives also present, for preliminary talks regarding the transfer of counties from Oregon to Idaho.

The Illinois Separation movement has also shown widespread support from the people who have an interest in seeing the state of Illinois separate from the deteriorating city of Chicago. Chicago-based elites pushing disarmament and other elite-sponsored agendas have only made the idea of splitting the state off from the Windy City grow in popularity. To date, twenty-six counties and two townships have endorsed the idea through referendums. More referendums are planned heading into November of 2024, with the goal being a convention of like-minded counties and townships. The county convention representatives would then discuss whether to form their own state or if they should seek to join neighboring states such as Missouri or Kentucky.

The activism and growing progress of all four of these movements, along with the failure of elitist policies, has emboldened secession and nullification activists across America to form new movements of their own. Next door to Texas, the bayou state of Louisiana has launched it’s own movement seeking separation from the DC Empire. In California, at least five different secession movements seek to split up the state and/or take it out of the United States. Further up the Pacific coast in Washington, a movement in the eastern part of the state (outside of the counties looking to join Greater Idaho) is seeking to form the new state of Liberty and may be due for a surge of support thanks to a totalitarian (and very confusing) hate speech law now coming into effect. Across country in Minnesota, as the Twin Cities implode domestically, a new movement has arisen seeking to pull western counties out to form their own state or join neighboring states, which some speculate could be a preliminary to breaking up the whole state.

Even at the most local levels of cities and counties, things are beginning to break up. News of the successful secession of St. George from the city of Baton Rouge, after a protracted campaign and legal battle, shocked and invigorated like-minded people across the nation. On the east coast, New York city and state are cracking apart as residents of Long Island discuss the idea of statehood, and Staten Island residents pursue separation over the immigration crisis. In Austin, Texas, certain sections of the city have lent overwhelming electoral endorsements to proposals to form their own cities. Most telling of all, steadily rising support for a movement to split up a more rural county in western Pennsylvania to better address local needs speaks to the growing popularity of these ideas among local citizens.

In other parts of the nation, open defiance toward elitist mandates is also becoming more popular, planting the seeds for further secession activism. In Wyoming and Louisiana laws have been passed forthrightly stating that the state governments will not enforce certain federal or globalist laws and/or treaties. In Florida, governor Ron DeSantis continues to take steps to defy federal and globalist mandates and appears to be building up his own state-run military to prepare Florida to defend itself if necessary. Even local governments are asserting their right of nullification, especially in those states where elitist policies are being most forcefully pursued, such as in Michigan where one township not only declared itself a sanctuary for the second amendment, but sent out a call for volunteers to form a local self-defense militia.

Conclusion

An old Chinese saying is “May you live in interesting times.” It is hard to imagine more interesting times than the ones currently emerging. History has never seen such a widespread rise in negative public sentiment toward the legitimacy of ruling elites. The common people, empowered by the democratization of information through the internet, are now beginning to take matters into their own hands. The world appears to be entering an era of political transformation whose ramifications will be studied for the rest of time.

Through this illogical statement, Trump unintentionally made the best argument as to why he is just as unfit to rule America as Kamala Harris, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and all the other presidential candidates. Only a small majority or plurality (if not a small corrupt cabal) will end up endorsing the eventual winner. This means that, no matter who wins in November, there will be no victory for the rest of America after Election Day.

In fairness to Trump, he obviously was trying to make the point that he wanted everyone in America to benefit from the results of his policies, not just those who voted for him or attached their political prospects to him. The problem, which Trump does not seem to understand, is that the 55-state/territorial-compact is too diverse economically, culturally, geographically, and politically to benefit from a set of policies imposed from one particular center of power. If Trump understood this, he would be endorsing a gradual dissolution of the ties to the imperial center in Washington DC and allowing states and territories to re-assert radically more control over their own governance. However, his campaign platform and rhetoric makes no firm commitment to policies even resembling this approach, just more solutions dictated from the imperial center of power. The political structures by which tyranny is imposed are left unaddressed, ready to be used at a moment’s notice by whichever wielder of power succumbs to the temptation to become addicted to it’s exercise.

Political Unity always opens the door to tyranny. America’s Founding Fathers well understood this, which was why they were in favor of multiple factions within the larger confederation (which was how pre-1860s America was designed). The view was that the dispersion of power, and the inability to consolidate it, would be a net benefit for the people. It would allow a very loosely attached country of different peoples to prosper in their own ways, in their own sections, according to their own needs. Co-operation (such as trade) would be voluntary based on the involved sections both benefiting, and Unity would only truly be needed temporarily in times of national emergencies, such as invasion from a foreign power (i.e. Great Britain in 1812).

Unfortunately for America, all these checks in favor of freedom disappeared, thanks to Lincoln’s Great Blunder and it’s immediate aftermath. What replaced it was a dominant center of power which built itself into the empire of today. Over time, this center gradually pulled more and more power to itself at the expense of the widely different sections of the country. It constructed a complex political structure, which now uses the mechanisms of law and power to dictate policy and results to a diverse body of millions, irrespective of what impacts it might have. All dictation is based on the whims of those with the acumen and manipulative skill to seize the levers which control it. So long as this complex structure of power exists, the common man in America has no prospects of truly succeeding in his earthly responsibilities.

“There is no victory in winning for half of America” Trump said in his speech. That much is true. Nobody wins as long as this imperial circus known as national elections continues. If all of America is to win, dissolution of the empire must be brought about. The power to govern must be returned to the local people. Only National Divorce, as the instrument of decentralization, can now accomplish that.

As in the United States, Britain’s electoral system is largely a uniparty system with a semblance of choice among parties “approved” by the Elite classes within politics, news, and the aristocracy. However, unlike the United States, Britain’s Uniparty system is split into three major parties: the Tories, Labour, and the Liberal Democrats. The Tories and Labour take turns at the top of the ruling pyramid with the Liberal Democrats, the descendants of the formerly dominant Liberal party, serving as an Elite-approved ‘wildcard’ party. Historically, all parties outside of this tri-party setup have been targeted for marginalization by the Elite classes, and either ignored, slandered, co-opted, or treated with condescension to prevent their rise to any real kind of power or influence.

While this setup has worked well for the British Elite for the majority of the 20th and early 21st centuries, certain long-term trends, as well as plans by certain nefarious actors within their ranks, have begun ripping this setup apart. To preserve their power, and save themselves from the long term trend of consequences of a British government living above its means for far too long, the majority of the British Elites have turned to the globalist plan to re-format the world known as the Great Reset. To that end, they have pushed policies to establish new structures in British society which can be used to support or bring about this Great Reset.

King Charles III is a devoted believer in the Great Reset, and since taking the throne in late 2022 has been using his influence behind the scenes to direct Britain towards this end. It is widely believed he allied with certain forces within the City of London and the Tory party in October 2022 to force Liz Truss from her position as prime minister. Her replacement, Rishi Sunak, had established connections to the World Economic Forum, the globalist organization at the front of the Great Reset campaign, which made the motive behind this move obvious. However, from the beginning of his reign, Charles made it clear through implication that the Labour party and it’s leader, Keir Starmer, were his preferred choice to run the empire and bring about implementation of the Great Reset. Content to let Sunak completely discredit the Tories in the eyes of the populace, and so ensure a larger Labour majority, Charles and the British Elites held off on pushing for an election in the immediate future. They seemed content that everything was trending in the right direction for eventual implementation of their plans.

That sense of complacent waiting vanished in late February 2024 when a local by-election for Parliament revealed a disturbing trend on the part of the British populace in the eyes of the Elites. In the Rochdale constituency, the voters delivered a stunning rejection of the Uniparty by electing populist leftist George Galloway of the Workers Party to fill a seat vacated by the recent death of a Labour member of Parliament. Further alarming the elites, the second place finisher in the by-election was a local businessman running as an independent, and the drop-off in vote totals from the top two finishers to the Uniparty candidates, who placed third, fourth and fifth, was uncomfortably large. That, taken in conjunction with local poll numbers showing an increasing level of dissatisfaction with Labour and Keir Starmer in addition to the Tories, sufficiently concerned the Elites that Prime Minister Sunak felt compelled to make an impromptu speech the day after the election condemning ‘extremism’ and warning through implication against supporting individuals outside the Elite circles like Galloway or his right wing counterpart Nigel Farage.

The reasons for this change in voting trends should have been obvious to the Elite circles if they had bothered to look at reality with their own eyes rather than through the rose-colored glasses of Great Reset idealism. Great Britain’s steady economic decline was leading to growing difficulties in living conditions for the populace, stirring up widespread discontent among the population. When combined with the ruling gentry being perceived as out of touch with the needs of their people, the voters inevitably began searching for other options. This is how voting preferences have changed within electoral systems for decades. One party is perceived as having been in power for so long that they have lost touch with the population, and voters switch over to a different party to change things up for the better (they hope).

However, what the world has not seen before electorally is what happens when an entire class of people, stretching across multiple political parties and ideologies, is perceived as being completely out of touch and in need of being replaced. This is the nature of the phenomenon now unfolding within Britain electorally and politically which, in turn, is leading to the impending whirlwind which is bearing down upon the nation and it’s elites. It is this phenomenon which seems destined to not only completely upend Britain electorally, but to bring an end to the unified political entity known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The 2024 British elections appear to be the beginning of this whirlwind. In the wake of Galloway’s victory and other troubling local election results, the Elites finally seemed to sense the voters’ growing recognition that Labour might not be the solution to their domestic problems any more than the Tories had been. Left unaddressed, this would inevitably begin a process on the part of the voters to secede electorally by supporting candidates outside the elite-approved Uniparty spectrum. If so, then this was undoubtedly why Sunak was persuaded to call the election far earlier than originally intended. King Charles and his elite friends probably feared that the growing popular trend of electoral secession from the left and the right would reduce Labour’s chances at the kind of majority they needed to begin pushing through their Great Reset policies. To this end, they pushed for an earlier election to head off the possibility that non-elite parties, such as George Galloway’s Workers Party, or Nigel Farage’s Reform Party, would gain enough political power in Parliament to make accomplishing this goal more difficult.

To an extent the tactic worked, just barely. Labour won over 400 seats, with the Tories hanging on to a little over 100, and the Liberal Democrats, led by former government minister Ed Davey, just barely breaching 70 seats. However, closer examination of the actual results, and certain electoral details within them, reveals that the British Elites may merely have bought themselves a little more time with a carefully constructed façade. Contrary to the media-constructed perception, the election results confirm that a seismic shift in the overall mood of the electorate is unfolding.

Despite the overwhelming number of seats, Labour’s percentage of the vote and overall vote total declined for the third straight general election in a row, ending up with fewer votes for the party as a whole than they received in their losses to the Tories in 2017 and 2019. Most embarrassingly for Keir Starmer himself, even though he won re-election for the fourth time, his vote total was the smallest he had won yet. Furthermore, it was discovered that Labour’s vote total might have been far lower had it not been for the electoral collapse of the leftist-oriented Scottish Nationalist Party (SNP) in Scotland, which was likely due to the SNP’s long list of recent scandals. The citizens of Britain certainly did not give a ringing endorsement to Labour or its proposed policies. As Fraser Nelson, an editor at the longtime British publication The Spectator, eloquently opined in the immediate aftermath of the election: “it would be deeply misleading to take this parliament as a proxy for UK public opinion.”

The evidence was clear in the vote totals that voters on both the left and the right were looking for alternatives electorally. While many elites scoffed at Farage’s right-wing Reform party garnering 14% of the vote but only winning five seats, they missed the clear evidence that Reform is a party on the rise in recognition and popularity. In addition to the five seats the party won, they came in second in an additional 98 constituencies and finished ahead of the Tories in 136 constituencies total. On the left, an anti-war, left-leaning coalition of Galloway’s Workers party and a slate of independent candidates managed to win second place in nine seats with an additional six independents winning seats from Labour. Labour also lost ground to the Green party, which won four seats, including one where they ousted a prospective member of Keir Starmer’s cabinet.

The vote totals for non-elite parties likely would have been higher if not for dirty election tricks which Elite-connected individuals and organizations carried out throughout the campaign. There was a relentless media blackout and intimidation campaign against Galloway, his party, and the anti-war left campaign which undoubtedly contributed to Galloway losing his seat, and the Workers party as a whole not winning any seats either. With Labour being the preferred party of the Elites pushing the Great Reset, the extra effort to shut out Galloway and his left-leaning coalition was to be expected in order to minimize the danger of undercutting Labour’s expected majority, both during the election, and later in the halls of Parliament. There were also extreme attacks against Farage and his Reform party. Everything from postmen defacing Reform UK election literature to an attempt to bait Farage into looking like a Russian stooge to an alleged attempt by a news station to frame Reform co-leader Richard Tice in a way which would have involved serious breaking of election laws. All these, and many more acts of intimidation, suppression, and slander against non-elite party candidates, spoke to a deep desperation on the part of the Elite classes in Britain to retain their power in spite of the growing swell of public discontent.

The whole situation in Britain going forward has the feel of an impending “unstoppable force meeting an immovable object” scenario. With the new Labour government fully committed to implementing the disastrous Great Reset program in Britain, the populace’s deteriorating domestic situation will only get worse. Many are predicting that what popularity Labour has left post-election will soon vanish, leaving them as unpopular as the Tories and leading to a dramatic rise in support for alternatives like the parties Farage and Galloway lead. However the Elite classes will certainly do everything within their abilities to hang on to the power which they have become so addicted to, which will undoubtedly lead to rising tensions between the everyday citizenry and the Elite classes holding these positions of power. This also means that Britain’s next general election will likely see a sharp rise in more acts of intimidation and suppression like the ones Galloway, Farage, Tice and others endured in the election cycle just completed. In addition, with the power of the British Deep State being what it is, and no written constitution or American-style bill of rights to tie their hands, it is not out of the realm of possibility that Parliament could seek to pass laws either banning or severely restricting these non-Elite parties as the German government is currently threatening to do to the “Alternative für Deutschland” party in Germany.

If the British people’s ability to peacefully change their representatives through the ballot box is severely hampered, or outright eliminated, the populace will inevitably seek other methods of bringing about change in order to remedy their own untenable domestic situation. As this need to seek other avenues of change becomes apparent to a majority of the general public, it will eventually be understood that the removal of such an Elite class as a whole will necessitate a dismantling of the political system which provides them with their power in the first place. This will mean bringing a final end to a British Empire which has existed in some form or another since the mid-16th century.

The foundation for this eventual result is already being laid through a sentiment of independence which is slowly growing in popularity throughout the British Isles. Despite the plummeting popularity of the Scottish Nationalist party (SNP), support among the Scottish people for Scotland seceding from the control of Westminster remains at a steady 45%. A recent poll in Wales showed that a majority within the younger generations are fully in favor of Welsh independence. Plus, the main Welsh nationalist party, the Plaid Cymru, is riding a wave of momentum after doubling their number of seats in Parliament and now has an eye to potentially winning a majority in the Welsh parliament in the next local elections. In Northern Ireland, the victory of Sinn Fein in local elections on a pro-reunification-with-Dublin platform has sparked much conversation that the days of a divided Ireland may be numbered. With the younger generations of Northern Irish appearing to be more firmly in favor of seceding from London to re-join with their brethren in the south, the trend certainly seems to be in that direction. Even in the far north Orkney Islands, there appears to be a general desire among the population to disassociate themselves from both Britain and Scotland. These are only a small sampling of decentralization and secession movements across the United Kingdom which will grow in popularity if the British Elite continue on their course of implementing the disastrous Great Reset program and suppressing the electoral backlash of the populace. With the survival of their power hanging on the successful realization of the program however, it is hard to see the Elites deviating from this course.

How soon the actual dissolution will unfold is hard to predict as there are so many individual factors involved. However, as the famous English novelist Charles Dickens wrote: “Men's courses will foreshadow certain ends, to which, if persevered in, they must lead.” That is the root of the political and electoral whirlwind that now faces Britannia. The Elite who currently rule her have chosen a path which will lead to their destruction, though in the fervor of their globalist idealism they fail to recognize that their set course leads to the iceberg which will sink their Titanic. This will be the era recorded in history as the true end of the British Empire, with the fall of London as an imperial capitol rivaling in historical importance that of the 5th century fall of Rome.

Now, as Canada’s government deteriorates deeper and deeper into despotism, Quebec’s main independence party, the Parti Québécois, is rising in popularity again and looks poised to take power in the next provincial elections. As part of their program, they are proposing a third referendum on independence and have released a detailed plan on how an independent Quebec would function both domestically and within the larger world. While the provincial elections are not expected to happen until 2026, and as such a referendum would be in 2027 at the earliest, these proposals have stirred up a fair amount of buzz and debate within political and commentary circles. Furthermore, an unspoken general feeling one gets out of the conversations which these proposals have sparked is that an independence referendum is far more likely to succeed this time, for Quebecers have far more grievances against Ottawa today then they did during the last two referendums.

In the backdrop of all of this, a piece released by a little-known British magazine called Actual News Magazine recently brought attention to a startling claim about who has really been behind Quebec’s inability to achieve independent statehood.

Few researchers have looked into it since Jean-François Lisée (In the eagle’s eye. Washington versus Quebec, Boréal, 1990)* on the determination of the United States, on a diplomatic, economic and cultural level, to preserve the unity and territorial integrity of Canada. The successive declarations of Clinton or Obama in favor of a “friendly and united” Canada nevertheless regularly remind us of the importance that Uncle Sam gives to the political stability of the continent, especially if he must in the meantime intervene on points otherwise hot elsewhere in the world.

It is therefore clear the role that American power, and in particular the Ottawa-Washington tandem, has historically been able to play so that Quebec nationalism never leads to the creation of a new sovereign state which would immediately have been perceived as a threat to stability in the region.

DC is well-known for its penchant for interfering in the internal affairs of other nations. It’s support of the protests against a proposed law in the Eurasian state of Georgia is the most recent publicly-known example. It certainly follows logically that, to protect it’s ability to meddle in affairs overseas, a government must ensure it and it’s neighbors remain territorially stable at home. Is there other evidence to back up this claim however? Looking back, the Parti Québécois itself may have provided such evidence.

Within the Independent Quebec blueprint which the Parti Québécois and it’s leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon released last October, they addressed key concerns on how an independent Quebec would handle certain issues such as the financial budget, monetary policy, trade policy and foreign policy. In the section dealing with foreign policy, a reference was made which has led to speculation that it was an attempt to appease powerbrokers on the North American continent so they would not openly oppose Quebec independence.

(Plamondon) said an independent Quebec will want to be a player in NATO, like other smaller countries such as Norway and the Netherlands. In the past, the PQ has favoured a non-aggression peacekeeping-style army with about 8,000 soldiers;

With the Elites in DC being the major movers behind NATO, this concession to attach a newly independent Quebec to the alliance could easily be a subtle gesture to DC rather than Ottawa. It could be interpreted as an acknowledgement of the security concerns DC has over an independent Quebec and an attempt to allay those fears in order to gain DC’s permission to proceed. This further statement from Plamondon would seem to reinforce this theory.

(Plamondon) said an independent Quebec will not try to cut itself off from the North American or Canadian economic context. In fact, he said, an independent Quebec will want the same friendly relations with the rest of Canada that it has as a province.

If this is true, and it is the Elite classes of DC which have blocked Quebec from realizing it’s full potential as an independent country, then that adds another local political entity which has a vested interest in the dissolution of Imperial DC. It is well-known that the DC Empire has opposed secession for groups they have disfavored on the geopolitical stage (i.e.: the Serbs of Republika Srspka), but their opinions on such movements within regions directly adjoining their territory has remained largely unknown to the general public until now. What this revelation seems to make clear is that DC is only consistent when it comes to denying the peoples of different parts of the world their right to self-determination. Thus it may be a fair assessment to say that Lincoln’s dastardly war has had repercussions much further beyond the borders of the United States of America then anyone initially dared dream.

In the western part of Nigeria, the Yorubas appear to be taking active steps for independence as the country’s economic situation falls apart.

In a video that has gone viral online, Modupe announced that Yorubas have seceded from Nigeria effective Friday, April 12, 2024.

Proclaiming the sovereignty of the democratic republic of Yoruba, the secessionist said Yoruba has become the newest nation in the world and 55th in Africa.

Meanwhile in the southeastern part of the nation, the suffering peoples in the suppressed state of Biafra also appear to be preparing to take matters into their own hands soon.

The Igbo-Biafra Nationalists Movement, on Tuesday described as a case of marginalization where the South East region, has only five states while other Geo-political regions have six and seven states.

The convener of the Igbo-Biafra Nationalists Movement, Mazi Uche Mefor, stated this to Vanguard while speaking on the issue of marginalization of the zone.

He warned that such situation was enough reason for the region to call for secession as according to international law, which he said condemned “extreme oppression and gross human rights violations” that recognises to rights to secession.

According to the Pro-Biafra group, Mefor said: “The Igbo-Biafra Nationalists Movement and the Indigenous People of Igbo Nation for Self-determination make a case for the Igbo-Biafra zone/region’s (South-East region) right or justification for a possible (remedial) secession from Nigeria in the face of unresolved injustice against the South-Easterners”

All while this goes on, the best which the ruling class in Nigeria’s capitol city of Abuja can seemingly do is make absurd objections about the “legality” of such actions.

Second Republic politician, Tanko Yakasai has cautioned agitators for a separate Yoruba State that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no power to cede away any part of Nigeria or to allow any part of Nigeria to break away from the present arrangement.

The elder statesman spoke against the backdrop of a recent exploit by a secessionist group, Yoruba Nation to mount the flag of Oodua nation at the Oyo State House of Assembly and the sympathy they had enjoyed so far among some Yoruba elites.

Speaking to Sunday Sun in Kano, Yakasai stressed that despite being Yoruba, this President nor any other Nigerian President has no power in the Nigeria Constitution to allow any entity or group of entities within the Nigeria setup to opt out and become an independent nation.

“As a matter of fact, there is no provision in the Nigeria Constitution that permits any part of the country to move out of the Federation as it is presently constituted” he declared.

According to Yakasai, “For anybody or group to think of opting out of Nigeria, the 1999 constitution has to be rewritten to make provision for such a scenario or for the secession of interested groups and regions from the present union.”

As stressed frequently in the Secession Speakeasy podcast, when a domestic situation becomes untenable in dire fashion, necessitating serious exploration of secession, explorations of the legality of such an action take a necessary back seat to finding ways to survive. The horrific stories of overwhelming economic hardship and starvation, and the continuing assaults of the Boko Haram terrorist group, have made the overall living situation of the several peoples who make up Nigeria untenable. For some, like those in the southeast, discrimination has added an extra layer to the untenability of the situation.

It is clearly the actions of a dying government when politicians must plead with separatists on the issue of “legality” where secession is concerned. When a government is either failing or terrorizing it’s people in ways which put their very existence at risk, it is the right of the people to take back their own governance. The American colonists made that clear in their justification for their own secession bid in the late eighteenth century. Therefore, it is the right of Yoruba and Biafra, under natural law, to secede from the failed state of Nigeria and govern themselves.

The heads of settler communities in northern Israel plan to announce a secession from the State of Israel in the coming days, in protest against the Israeli government's inaction in returning the tens of thousands of settlers who have been displaced from the Galilee by Hezbollah.

The decision came at a recent meeting of the Conflict Zone Forum and is expected to be formally announced on 15 May, Independence Day for Israelis and Nakba Day for Palestinians.

“It was decided to announce on Independence Day the establishment of the State of Galilee and unilateral disengagement from the State of Israel. This extreme step will be accompanied by additional actions,” according to a 9 May report by Hebrew news outlet Walla.

What would seceding from New York City mean for Staten Island? Copious litigation, yawning budget deficits and a scramble to make up for lost economies of scale – building up its own municipal workforce, possibly creating new health care, education and corrections facilities, for example.

That’s according to a new report from the city’s Independent Budget Office on the age-old topic of Staten Island potentially seceding from New York City. The bottom line, the report found, is that secession would be no simple task. “In short, secession is highly complex, would take many years to implement, and would either be more expensive for Staten Island residents, require an independent Staten Island to reduce benefits and services to residents, or both,” the report, which doesn’t take a position on secession, read.

The argument is absurd on it’s face. The recently seceded new city of St. George, Louisiana is privatizing certain essential services to keep their city government costs within certain budget limits. There is no reason Staten Island cannot do the same. There would be a transition process, but then secession necessitates all kinds of transitions to bring about better outcomes. That is one of the primary purposes of secession: to transition from a bad situation into a better situation.

The article goes on to reveal that a certain politician from outside Staten Island named Justin Brannan commissioned the study. It further suggests Brannan commissioned the study as part of a plan to advance his own political star against local Republican congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis who recently announced her support for Staten Island seceding from New York City. If so, then the study becomes even more irrelevant as a simple act of political campaign posturing. Brannan’s unprofessional and condescending comments towards Staten Island in the wake of the report’s release, reinforces the likelihood of this being the reason for the study.

This report was conducted following a request last year to the IBO from City Council Member Justin Brannan, who represents Southern Brooklyn. “In the beginning there was darkness – and then there were shadowboxing Staten Island politicians talking tough about seceding from New York City,” Brannan wrote in an email. “Cut off from the benefits of citywide sales and property tax, tourism revenue, and overall economic growth, a seceded Richmond County could not afford to provide police, fire, trash pick-ups, schools, libraries, hospitals, and other absolutely essential human services to its population without an insanely exorbitant increase in taxes just to maintain today’s status quo.”

Thankfully it appears the local impact of the report will be minimal in light of the pressing challenges Staten Island faces due to New York City’s mass migrant problem. Staten Island councilman Joe Borelli, who made waves with his proposal that Staten Island’s new slogan should be “We don’t like you either,” gave the report no credence whatsoever.

Council Member Joe Borelli – one of three council members in the borough – didn’t find the report very enlightening. “The idea that anyone can predict what a government that hasn’t been elected yet will do is bizarre,” Borelli wrote in a text, noting that despite warnings back in the ’90s that taxes could go up if Staten Island seceded, 65% of residents voted in favor of secession in a 1993 referendum. “Guess what? The d****d taxes went up anyway and we still have no say,” Borelli said.

Still, this new attack angle against secession should be noted. With the fabled “race card” attack tactic failing in Louisiana to stop the secession of St. George from Baton Rouge, it is a safe bet that the Elites will be seeking new attack angles to discredit movements towards secession and self-government. Trying to dissuade people from secession with arguments based on the socialist premise of governments providing services could be a new anti-freedom approach to watch out for. As Bugs Bunny memorably quipped upon seeing a new robot that had come to kidnap him: “Well whaddaya know! We got a new garbage can!”

An explosive device struck a military vehicle carrying troops belonging to the secessionist Southern Transitional Council (STC) force today in Yemen, killing at least 6 and wounding 11.

The attack was immediately blamed on al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), and took place in south Yemen’s Abyan Province. AQAP has long had a presence in Abyan and had effective control over the province for much of the Arab Spring.

The STC is backed by the United Arab Emirates and has designs on southern secession from Yemen. While not formally part of the Saudi-backed “recognized government,” it also decidedly opposes the Shi’ite Houthi movement in the north.

Since splitting from the government, the STC has de facto control over much of southern Yemen. The group’s operations are aimed at retaining control over the region, and at times resisting both AQAP and the pro-Saudi forces.

Ironically, though AQAP and the STC are at odds with one another, the United Arab Emirates made considerable efforts to recruit AQAP’s former members into the STC as experienced fighters.

The STC has been courted by pro-Saudi forces, who offered them a spot on the Presidential Leadership Council. While the STC isn’t totally aligned with the Saudis, this gesture has tempered the amount of fighting among them.

The United Arab Emirates backed the Saudi-led invasion of Yemen, hoping to install the Saudis at the expense of the Houthis. Emirati interests in the country have since evolved into backing secessionism, hoping to ensure substantial influence in a post-war South Yemen, assuming it reasserts itself as an independent entity.

So there you have it. The Saudis, United Arab Emirates, and the United States are all playing games with the various secession groups in a bid to gain geopolitical advantages over the others. The article does not mention the additional fact that the Houthis in the north are being backed by Iran to hold off Saudi and UAE influence in the country.

While the local peoples’ desires to rule themselves is a natural inclination that should be respected, the leaders of these movements obviously fell into the trap of seeking backing for their groups from nearby powers who had other nefarious plans. As we warned when addressing the comments of Russian politician Dmitry Medvedev on Texas secession and Texas Nationalist Movement president Daniel Miller’s fantastic response to Medvedev’s comments, good secession leaders must never compromise the well-being of their people for the geopolitical aims of a larger more-established power. We further showed that history backs up this analysis with the example of the abject suffering and hatred that unfolded in Kosovo which allowed itself to be used a proxy war between the United States and Serbia in the 1990s and how that bitter legacy continues to this day. It appears that a similar legacy may afflict the war-torn nation of Yemen for years to come.

Take a lesson from this secession activists. Whatever you do, do not let another geopolitical power co-opt your secession movement and call the shots. At that point, your cause is lost because the geopolitical aims of the larger power will become the end goal of the movement. No longer will the end goal be the well-being of the local people and the chance for a peaceful division over differences will be lost.

Bosnia & Herzegovina’s Republika Srpska was treated as an independent state during a security conference in St Petersburg, with its flag placed alongside those of other countries whose representatives attended the forum, the entity’s President Milorad Dodik said on April 24.

The placement of Republika Srpska’s flag instead of that of Bosnia was seen as a possible green light by Russia for Dodik’s secession plans.

This would seem to suggest that Russia is preparing to intervene (in some non-violent form) on behalf of the Republika Srpska in a similar manner to how Royalist France intervened on behalf of the newborn United States of America in 1778 with France signing the Treaty of Alliance with the Continental Congress guaranteeing America’s independence.

It is fair to ask what happens now. Russia is on the path to victory in it’s proxy war with the Totalitarian powers in Ukraine, but there is still a long way to go before that war is over. Furthermore, it is unlikely they will take a real risk of giving the Totalitarian powers in the West an excuse to launch another hot conflict, especially with the Ukraine war still ongoing and threats still hanging over the Russian-oriented province of Transnistria in Moldova. How might Russia put teeth into it’s support for Republika Srpska without igniting a war? Those will be interesting chess moves to observe in the weeks to come.

This hasn’t deterred the Serbs in Republika Srpska or their leader, Milorad Dodik, from continuing to put forward threats to secede if the rights promised them under the Dayton Agreement are not respected. This has prompted scrambling on the part of the Western Elites to continue posing as a strong backer of the Bosnian government in Sarajevo. The recently announced visit of one of the Bosnian leaders at the NATO Headquarters a few days ago is a sign of this.

Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, to NATO Headquarters on Monday (8 April 2024) to discuss regional security issues and furthering the country’s partnership with NATO.

Mr Stoltenberg emphasised that NATO strongly supports Bosnia and Herzegovina’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He outlined that NATO’s commitment to Bosnia and Herzegovina includes support to the country’s security reform efforts via the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, and strengthening capabilities through a Defence Capacity Building package. He added that NATO continues to support the EU-led Operation Althea to maintain a safe and secure environment, saying: “We stand ready to continue our political dialogue and strengthen our practical cooperation, for the benefit of our shared security.”

Clearly this visit served no real purpose except as a public relations gesture meant to intimidate Republika Srpska. This then raises the question, why all the public posturing if this movement has no prospects for success as some defenders of NATO and the Elites claim? If this meeting was intended to be a sign of NATO strength in the face of Republika Srpska “wrongthinking”, then it backfired badly. It instead shows that NATO is not only losing its proxy war against Russia, but is now uncertain of its ability to even prevent a national divorce in it’s ‘colonial’ state of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The Secretary General commended Bosnia and Herzegovina for its recent progress on the path toward European Union membership and welcomed efforts to upgrade the country’s armed forces to work even more closely with NATO. However, he expressed concern about secessionist policies and divisive rhetoric, describing this as “reckless and dangerous” and undermining hard-won progress. He stressed that “all political leaders must work together to preserve unity and safeguard national institutions”, adding that “this is key for peace and security in the country, and for stability in the Western Balkans.”

Stoltenberg is an utter clown, as has been demonstrated to the whole world by his behavior and rhetoric all throughout the Russia-Ukraine conflict. These “warnings” to Republika Srpska, which are so full of cliches and lies, only serve to enhance his buffoonish image. They certainly do not inspire fear in the people of the Republika Srpska who know all too well that the “hard-won progress” he refers to is actually the enhanced political and cultural persecution of the Serbian people. If anything, his words will likely have the opposite effect of what he intended them to have, which means it will enhance the prospects of independence in the near-future for Republika Srpska.

In closing, secession supporters across the world should carefully observe and take heart at events unfolding in the Balkans. As their own secession movements reach maturity and near the accomplishment of their goal, they will face similar rhetoric and cliché-based warnings and threats from the leaders of the dying elitist classes. Take note that public relation façades like this are a sign of your adversary’s weakness, not their strength.
